Garage Sale

I am planning on having a garage sale tomorrow, so most of the afternoon will be spent getting things finalized. I still need to hang a few signs, so I will post any deals after lunch.
Our local paper charges an arm and a leg for garage sale ads, seriously… it’s $24, so I have just posted it on some other free garage sale and classified sites and plan on putting up a lot of signs. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that it doesn’t rain and that people actually show up!

There are some others, but you have to pay anywhere from $4-$10 for an ad… I am frugaul (uhmm… cheap) and I just can’t justify spending the $ on an ad when it’s just us, we will advertise when we go in with someone.
I went extra heavy on the signs this year and it seems to be working, because I had an early bird already tonight! I have at the same time already had two signs torn down and had to rehang them… I don’t understand why people do that sort of thing, but I am stubborn and hung them right back up!
