I had to stop in my local CVS today and I noticed that they had a large amount of items on clearance for 75% off.

Here’s what I noticed-

Diapers: CVS Brand diapers on clearance for 75% off. The ones that I noticed off-hand were CVS Ultra-Thins, Jumbo packs and they were 75% off of $9-something… I think it was $9.49. They also had some boys Training Pants on the same shelf.

Toys: They had several toys on sale for 75% off. I noticed a “doodle” type board for under $2, Fisher Price Sesame Street Assorted Plush Characters (8-inches) for $1.75, Winnie the Pooh Soft & Silly Characters for $2.50. They had quite a few other toys on clearance, these are just the one’s that I noticed since I was looking for possible Christmas goodies to stash away.

Other Baby Items: The manager stopped my and asked me if I needed any baby stuff and pointed me to some bins they had of items that were also ringing up 75% off (build a relationship with your CVS store employees… they will let you know about markdowns in advance). I went through the bins and there was Similac, Gerber Breastfeeding items such as Milk Storage Bags, several different brands of pacis, baby grooming kits, baby hair care kits and lots more.

Miscellaneous Items: The store manager also pointed out some really nice hair dryers that were 75% off… would be a great item for someone heading off the school in the fall.

These markdowns vary by store, so I wouldn’t make a special trip out… but if you have CVS on your “to do” list this week you might want to prowl around and see if you can find some bargains.
