I know the crud has been going around the past week or so because I have had it myself -yuck! When there are sick mommies out there… that usually means there are some sick kiddos as well.

Some of you moms are seasoned pros out there and are on your third or fourth tot and know exactly when to keep you kid home and not send them to school. Others of us… not so much, that’s just something we have to learn as we go!

Well, I just found out about a handy little informational guide from the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) and Triaminic called the “Sick Day Guidlines” (PDF file to download). It gives you tips so you will know exactly when to keep your kid at home. That way you won’t risk making you kid worse, spreading their infection or having them sent home because they really should not have gone to school to begin with.
