Deal Alert: Sneak Peek At Tag Deal At Target Next Week
Just wanted to give you a head’s up on a great deal starting tomorrow…
I am working on Savings Sunday this evening and I just realized that starting tomorrow Target is going to have the LeapFrog Tag Reading System on sale for $39. The $10 off printable coupon is still available on Coupons.com (as of tonight) so that would make the Tag only $29!!!!
If you are thinking about a Tag for your child, this would be the week to pick-one up. I have not seen it this low before. My daughter loves hers, if you want to check out my PPP’s review of the Tag Reading System you can do so here.

The recommended age for the Tag is 4 and up…as a parent who owns one, what do you think is the appropriate age to start reading with one? I’m considering buying one for my daughter as a Christmas gift, but am wondering if it would be over her head. Thanks!

Hey Lucy-
My daughter is 27 mos. She is a tad bit young for the actual games, but she can work the reader herself and LOVES it.
We just always play with the Tag as a family or parent guided activity.
As she grows she will be able to use the Tag in a different way in that she will be aware of the games and the rewards she can earn as part of the learning system.
I would say though for the $29.99 price… if you child is a little younger than the suggested 4, I think it would still be a good toy to get and try. If she seems a little young for it you can always play with her like we do or put it up for a month or so.
They are planning on coming out with a Tag Jr. this summer and that might be an option for you also.
