Okay, so I am not sure if anyone else has a Kroger Marketplace like we do here in Knoxville. We have this really big store that has some housewares items, toys, a huge organic section and even furniture and linens. I think I recall reading at one point that this was the only Kroger store like this and the reason we have it is because there is a Super Target and Super Wal-Mart within a mile or so. Not sure if that’s true or if anyone else has a Kroger with toys… but, these deals were just too good not to pass along.

Here’s what I got tonight…

Three Tag Reading System books, which retail for around $13.99 ($9-$10 on sale, etc.) for $3.37. That’s right all three for $3.37… now you see why I had to pass this along in case anyone in my hometown is looking or in case someone else has toys at their store.

The books were marked down to $3.79 and I had two $4 off coupons (one from Coupons.com and one from LeapFrog, that I had just stuck in my purse a couple of weeks ago). They had a really large selection. I just picked ones we did not have or ones that weren’t too “boyish” (i.e. Cars, etc.).

Also, I picked up…

The Disney Princess Love of Letters game for my daughter’s LeapFrog ClickStart. It was marked down to $4.99, these games retail for around $23 ($15 or so on sale). There was probably a coupon for this one as well, but this was an impulse buy and I just happened to have the Tag coupons for a trip to K-Mart if I was near one… there books are on sale.

I know this will be a very YMMV (your mileage might vary) deal, but I hope maybe someone else gets to find these items and score a deal like I did this evening.

They did have quite a few other toy items marked down like this as well, but I had just popped in for milk and picked-up a couple of items.
