What do friends of the PPP family think…
This is such a simple concept, but so effective. Parents who have babies with colic know how exhausting trying to soothe their babies can be. You can sometimes
spend hours pacing, rocking, bouncing, massaging … you get the picture. Well, with the Colic Massage pad you can at least sit down in a nice relaxing chair and cuddle with your baby while they are soothed and calmed with the sounds and motions of the pad.
The problem with colic is that not only does it make your baby fussy and uncomfortable there really is no cure, the best you can do is soothe your baby. What works one day for a colicky baby might not work the next, but it will work again the day after.
As a parent of a colicky baby, you can wind-up feeling very helpless. The pad is so soothing that a baby can actually be lulled to sleep on it… amazing! All while just relaxing and cuddling your baby, so that’s wonderful.
Things we love about the pad…
- It’s soft and the cover is completely removable and washable.
- The white noise from the massager is very soft and soothing.
- There are some vibrations from the massaging mechanism that are also very soothing.
- It can be used on the shoulder or lap, although we preferred the lap position (just personal preference, no real reason).
- Circular massage motion is soft, but duplicates the full hand circular motion suggested by experts. It can provide a much more constant motion, not the start stop stuff because your hand gets tired after massaging.
Our overall impression…
It’s soft, soothing and has a budget friendly price tag. Definitely worth checking out if you are a parent with a colicky baby. Even though this item is targeted towards babies with colic, we really think this is just a nice soother in general and would even be relaxing for any baby… what baby wouldn’t love a nice soothing massage on mommy or daddy’s lap!?

I saw this kinda tucked in an odd spot at Babies R Us. When I got home my baby was already in full tilt crying mode. Threw some batteries in this felt the massager thinking "This isnt going to work, but Ill give it a shot."
All I got to say is,wow! my baby was soothed and fas asleep in minutes!!
