Häagen-Dazs is having a Free Flavor Day on May 12, 2009 at participating shops from 4-8pm. Here’s the link to the store locator so you can find a shop you your area. I always like to suggest calling first to see if your store is participating.

By hosting this event, Häagen-Dazs wants to help promoting awareness of what honey bees do for natural foods such as fruit, nuts and honey. So, Häagen-Dazs is giving away a free scoop of any of their “Bee-Built” ice cream flavors on May 12, 2009 between 4pm and 8pm at any participating Häagen-Dazs locations.

I hope to teach my daughter about bees as soon as her “butterfly garden” starts to come in. We planted a ton of wildflower seeds this year as an educational project. Didn’t know I could make ice cream be an education about bees too! )
