Product Review: Wateroos
A couple of weeks ago I shared with you a deal on Wateroos at Babies R Us, they have a Summer Promotion going on if you buy any FOUR 6-packs of Wateroos at any retailer (including Toys R Us, Babies R Us and Whole Foods) by 7/21/09, you can get a $10 gift card to that store. You of course need to complete the form and send it in, but you can read all the deals about that here.
Well, now we have actually had a chance to try these when we were traveling recently and I wanted to let you know what the PPP family thinks…
What are Wateroos?
Wateroos are all natural flavored water (they also have plain) that are packaged conveniently in juice boxes. They are designed to be a fun, healthy alternative to traditional juice boxes. The only additive is the flavor and it’s natural flavoring, so there’s not artificial dyes, sugar or any of that yuck stuff.
What Flavors Are Availabe?
-
Plain
-
Grape
-
Apple
-
Berry
Where Can You Find Wateroos?
You can find them at stores like Babies R Us, Toys R Us, Whole Foods, Earth Fare and you can even buy them online from the Wateroos store. Here’s a link to their “Where To Buy” page so you can find a store near where you live.
Well, What Does The PPP Family Think?
My almost 2 and a half year old loves them. She’s not a juice gal, prefers water or milk, but she really took to the Wateroos.
We packed a bunch while we were traveling recently. We knew we would be in the hot car for a long distance and boxes like this were much handier than trying to fix a sippy cup on the road.
We have tried plain (unflavored) and apple. My daughter liked both, but liked the unflavored version the most, probably because she’s just not a juice fan.
I think these are a great idea. I love how handy they are, you can even freeze them to keep them cold. I also love the fact that you aren’t pumping your little one full of sugar.

My kids are also big fans of plain water and don't like juice. I like the idea of having a water "juice box" on hand for traveling (it's hard to keep sippy cups full on-the-go!). Thanks for the review – I"ll keep an eye out for these!

I agree Kara… it can be hard to keep cups on the go ready. We were in the car for about 6+ hours recently (with bathroom breaks & stopping to eat). It was great to just have these in a little cooler ready to go.
