What the PPP family thinks…

It’s really funny that as I sit down to write this review I find myself having to hold back my enthusiasm for this stroller and make myself actually sit down and list out why I like this stroller so much. What I really feel like writing is, “I LOVE THIS STROLLER!!“, but that’s not really a proper review… or is it?!? Seriously, using this stroller gives me a sorta “giddy” feeling inside.

This is sort of a replacement stroller for our family. We just gave our midweight stroller to a family member and the exact same week we wound-up with a hole in our really nice umbrella stroller.

Our daughter at 2 and a half is at the point where she needs a stroller sometimes, but not all the time. Usually we use it if we are going to a festival or somewhere where there’s going to be a lot of walking- she’s one of those kids who starts tripping when she gets tired, so we let her ride once she’s pooped.

Up until the hole, we had been pleased with our previous brand of umbrella stroller. It was a better brand stroller and we thought it met all our needs, but we had no idea what an umbrella stroller could be until we tried out the Wrangler Unlimited g-edition™ Stroller. This stroller performs at the level of a stroller that is 2-3 times more expensive. It’s roomy, the handles are a great height (even for my 6 ft. hubby), the basket has plenty of room, there are all sorts of pockets, the shade is HUGE… I could go on and on.

Here are just some of the things we love about this stroller…

  • Size- This stroller is the perfect size. It weighs 15.5 lbs. and folds to 8 ” x 10.5 ” x 45. The height is great, even for my husband who is 6 ft and normally doesn’t like pushing a stroller because of his long stride… he usually feels hunched over and kicks the wheels, but that’s not the case with this stroller.
  • Seat- Even though my little one is getting to the point where some kids give up strollers, she has plenty of room. This stroller capacity is up to 50lbs and at 29… she’s got plenty of room to grow. Also, the seat can be rolled up to make a comfy pillow and to cool things down with mesh sides.
  • Shade- It’s sometimes laughable what some shades look like on lightweight or umbrella strollers… even though their descriptions say “oversized canopy.” This is not the case with the Wrangler Unlimited g-edition™ . The canopy is HUGE and extremely adjustable. My daughter was playing with it the other day and she brought it all the way around the the front and all I could see was her legs… it’s that big. I also like there’s a window so you can see inside, our old umbrella did not have that.
  • Storage- One of the features you typically give up on an umbrella stroller is storage, but that’s not this case with this one. You have a pocket on the back, two side pockets, cup holder and the basket underneath… lots of storage.
  • Green Factor- The stroller’s canopy and seating area are made from PET Recycled Fiber saving approximately forty 16 oz. bottles from the landfill… but it’s still budget friendly!
  • Appearance- This stroller is a beautiful green color with gray and blue. It has padded handles and just really looks much more expensive than it is. I think my daughter must like how it looks too because she will ask to ride in her green stroller instead of a shopping cart!

Is there anything we didn’t like about the stroller?

Honestly, there isn’t a thing we don’t like about the Wrangler Unlimited g-edition™ Stroller. We plan on using it as long as possible and hanging on to it in case we wind-up with another PPP baby. The only downfall I can think of is that this stroller is only available online… I know most people like to go and look at strollers, feel and touch them… but that has nothing to do with the stroller! The PPP loves the Wrangler Unlimited g-edition™ Stroller and think it’s a great value- looks and acts like a much more expensive stroller.
