Ask The Readers: What’s On Your Santa List This Year?

I have to admit we actually started listening to some Christmas music on Saturday. Yup, you read that right… my family is already listening to Christmas music and to top it all off we started listening to it on Halloween!
We are pretty excited about the holidays this year. Our daughter at almost 3 is old enough to understand the concept of all those Holiday things like Santa, Rudolph and of course presents!
We had a pretty rotten Christmas last year. I woke up in the wee hours of the morning on Christmas Eve with a stomach bug. Probably one of the worst ones I have ever had. Daddy was sick on Christmas and then of course our little one was next. It was just plain awful. I know we were together and that’s the most important thing, but this year we are planning on doing some serious making up.
We have already been shopping a bit. There seem to be some good holiday deals out there already and it’s not even Thanksgiving. I have mostly been picking up little clearance items for stocking stuffers.
We have some items we will of course be shopping around for the best deal on such as a doll house (we have it narrowed down to the Mrs. Goodbee one), some preschool games and of course that silly Whoopsie Doo doll that my little one insists that Santa bring her…I don’t think she has a clue what that baby is really doing when it says it has a “Whoopsie Doo.” She’s in for a surprise if Santa brings it to her!
I wanted to check with you readers and see what’s on your list for Santa this year? Leave me a comment and let me know so I can help you scope out a deal. Also please feel free to leave a comment if you scored a great deal on one of the season’s hottest toys… I would love to pass it along and help others save.

I had to laugh because I don't start listening to Christmas music until Thanksgiving, but then that's ALL I listen to!!!!! Anyway, sounds like you deserve some extra make-up time after last year!

I am usually the same way… turn it on after Thanksgiving and then it's on until Christmas.
This year our toddler wanted to hear Rudolph and well… here I am listening to Christmas music! I am working on getting her to understand that "Blue Christmas" is actually sung by Elvis and not an Elephant! She keeps saying "Elephants sing Blue Christmas!" Takes all I have not to bust out laughing- it's really cute!
Thank you so much for stopping by and taking the time to comment!
