Wow, it got cold here at the Penny Pinching Parent family house this weekend. This time of year means more time inside for us and even time at sporting events when the opportunity presents itself. Our little one went to her first basketball game a week or so ago and had a blast. Since we are inside a little more, this is also the time of year where we spend a little more time watching TV… football games, basketball games & Christmas movies & specials.

We looked at TV’s over the weekend and just sorta “day dreamed.” We are so behind the times on our home entertainment technology, we don’t even have a flat screen TV. It’s just one of those things were are a family “pinching pennies” we don’t feel like it’s something we want to spend money on right now.
