How we began?
What originally started out as way to more efficiently communicate baby bargains and deals with friends and family, wound-up blossoming into a full fledged baby, toddler, preschooler, big kid and family bargain site.

About PPP?
Call me Penny Pinching Parent, PPP or Penny… my friends and family call me Sonya and my kiddo calls her Mommy! I am an average mom just like you-striving to be a “super mom” and somehow or another find time to do it all… all while “pinching pennies” and stretching her her personal family budget.
I am a stay-at-home, work-at-home, homeschooling mom. My hubby and I met in college and getting to the point where we have pretty much known each other half our lives. I am thankful that I have a husband who gets me and I think we are both really appreciate each others ‘penny pinching’ attitude towards pretty much every aspect of our life… makes life easier when we are on both on the same page.
Our little one is currently a Kindergartner who participates in a virtual online school program… which means she puts in a full-day each day, just at home. She gets to participate in outings with other students, has virtual instruction online and I act has her ‘learning coach,’ which means I act as her teacher for a minimum of ‘ hours a day…. it’s wasn’t what we had planned this year, but it’s a VERY long story and she will be headed back to a brick and mortar school this Fall.
What Qualifies Us To Be A “Bargain Expert”?
Before leaving the workforce, my career was primarily in non-profit development and fundraising. While working, I had to learn very quickly how to plan large events, run a district office and accomplish a variety of tasks with very limited (sometimes no) funds.
The mentality that I adapted from my non-profit career and the skills I picked-up while stretching those non-profit budgets has made me quite the “expert” at spotting or knowing how to find a good deal. Plus, being a seasoned baby & kid bargain hunter means I knows all the right spots to look for you a great deal.
I have been and still do use all my “bargain hunting” skills on a daily basis as I plan for and makes purchases for my own family and I am very proud to provide you with Penny Pinching Parent as a tool to help your family save time and money.
