Kids Food Allergy Items: Mabel’s Labels Newly Designed Allergy Alert Labels

Newly Re-designed Allergy Alert Labels At Mabel’s Labels…

May is National Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month and Mabel’s Labels has launched their newly re-designed Allergy Alert Labels.

As a mom of a kiddo who has had food allergies and has asthma, I know just how scary it can be sending your sweet one off to preschool or daycare, and having to worry about their safety when it comes to allergies.

Besides educating the staff at your child’s daycare or school, one of an allergy parent’s best safeguards to help protect their child is to make sure EVERYTHING is CLEARLY labeled. This means cups, lunch bags, etc. and for me, I like a label that be personalized to a child’s specific allergies and that is waterproof. Yes, you can make labels, but clearly printed labels that are as specific as can be are a must for this mommy.

Allergy Labels Aren’t Just For Back To School…With Summer coming-up there will be lots of children who are attending new Summer Camps, new daycares and even Vacation Bible school programs where staff might not be familiar with your child’s allergies… so bright clear labels are just as important in the Summer as they are for ‘Back To School’.

Mabels Labels Allergy Alert

Mabel’s Labels Are Durable, Waterproof & Customizable

Mabel’s newly re-designed Allergy Alert Labels are an ideal label for lunch boxes, water bottles, school gear and more.

You can customize the labels with your own specific allergy information and even pick your choice of icons. The labels come in a vibrant red with white color combination, so they are not only cute, but attention-getting as well.

As set of 24 labels is $21.00 at Mabel’s Labels.

Back To School: New ALL YOU Special ‘Back To School’ Issue

This year my baby big kid officially started Kindergarten. I have to drive my gal to school and since they don’t have an official cafeteria, I have to pack her lunch every day. These two things alone make me have to rely on pre-planning and a routine… throw in the fact that most mornings she would rather play or read a book than get ready and I have to have things planned to run in a manner which will allow us to get packed-up, out the door, through traffic and to school on time.

Now that we are in our fourth week, I think we  have our routine down. It took a good week and a half, but things run pretty smooth for us now. As a first-time mom, advice and tips from other moms, magazine and websites have been so helpful… seeing great ideas and tips have made me not so stressed about such a big change and now busy time in our lives.

Back To School: Save 20% Off Backpacks, Lunch Boxes, Kids Clothing & More At LL Bean

For A Limited Time Save At LL Bean On Kids “Back To School Items”

For a limited time you can take 20% off school backpacks and lunch boxes, plus Kids’ clothing, outerwear and footwear at LL Bean. There is not a coupon code needed for this offer and it expires 09/03/12.

PPP Family Faves…

We are HUGE fans of LL Bean at our house and we ordered our gal’s backpack and lunchbox for Kindergarten this year from LL Bean.

Here’s the combo she picked out:

It looks like the pink flowers print is currently sold out, but I honestly cannot say enough great things about the quality of their lunch boxes and backpacks. My husband still has his backpack from college that he uses when we travel… they seriously last forever!!
We had the Original Junior Backpack for when my gal was younger and we moved up to the Original Backpack for Kindergarten. Her Junior still fits fine, looks great and holds a ton of stuff, but my daughters Kindergarten teacher had listed ‘full-size’ backpack on the supply list. To be honest, her Junior would have been fine… the Original dwarfs the few items she brings home each day.
LL Bean Unshrinkable Knit Dress:
My gal loves a comfy knit dress, preferably with pockets, over some leggings. That is her outfit of choice and we LOVE the Unshrinkable Knit Dresses from LL Bean. With the way my gal grows, we usually seem to get 2 seasons worth of wear out them… usually the Fall and then a bit in the Spring or if it’s one we buy in the cooler parts of Spring, then she can typically wear it again when it starts to get cool in the Fall… they last a really long time! This also makes them a great candidate for consigning if you consign your kiddos clothes.
